Default Schools in Toulouse

Hello all.

I will shortly be starting a job in Saint Martin du Touch in the Toulouse suburbs. I have 2 children aged 4 and 7. Both already speak French as their mum is also French. I am looking for a place to settle which is:
- reasonably close to St Martin du Touch
- offers nice, friendly schools for young children
- quiet residential areas
- good access to either public transport or road network

From reading other threads, I understand that there are some areas to the SW of the city which are not great and I am worried that St Martin / Tournefeuille may be a bit close to these areas. Just want to make sure my children have the best chance of integrating.

Many thanks for any advice

Jason

you will be fine in Tournefeuille, Colomiers, Pibrac, Cornebarrieu, Mondonville,Brax, Leguevin + +

As your children are already french speaking then They should be fine in the french system.... if you want to continue their English skills eventually then you could try English 31 which can be contacted through the College Victor Hugo at Colomiers

Hi - would love to take you up on your offer, but it looks like PM use is restricted to members with more than three posts. Not sure what constitutes a post. If this is one, I may be close to the threshold - so watch out for a PM!

Thanks

Jason
