Samedi 17 Mai - La Nuit des Musées (Free Nightly Museum Visits in France)

I only found out about this today. Tomorrow night (Saturday 17th May) museums across France will be open during the night, free entry. I think I'm going to pop down to the Louvre.

Hi Val. It can get quite busy on those free Sundays, you did well to get in after 10 minutes. I've been to the Louvre once, but it's so vast, I couldn't see it all in a day. I like the idea of visiting at night.

There's PDF guides available on this page for the different regions of France, and there seems to be a lot on offer.
