Removal costs from Gatwick to Toulouse?
 

We are looking at moving the contents of a small 1 bedromed flat from the Gatwick area to Toulouse. Has anyone any idea of how much this could cost and what options are available?

Greetings. I probably had a similar sort of load to move from Ashby-de-la-Zouch (that's England, not France!), to Paris. I was quoted by three companies around £1300 (excluding VAT), so I imagine it would be quite a bit dearer for Toulouse. If you have the determination, the best thing to do is hire either a large wheel based van or small truck and go across on the euro tunnel with at least one friend to help you unload. For a fraction over £300, I hired the largest van I could get for a long weekend (Fri afternoon to Mon morning), covered the diesel costs, return hotel room, euro tunnel and return flight to Paris. It was hard work though, and you'd of course need to organise somewhere to kip over, but it saves money and it's always a good adventure - very satisfying in hindsight.

These people have a weekly run out this way IE Toulouse they just delivered a load of furniture to us i don't know how much it cost but it was picked up from Tonbridge just down the road from your self and delivered here just down the road from were you going to be.
