Phew. They've just left.

We have had 9 of the 11 surviving french cousins over for "lunch".

They arrived at midday, "lunch" is just over.

I'm quite pleased we didn't invite anyone for dinner tonight.

Well we got through 7 bottles of wine after the aperitifs. The meal was a great success, we made three different curries, lamb, chicken and fish of various intensities, home made naan and veggie samosas with a variety of spicy condiments.

They'll not be back.

We are going to get a small tandoori oven, I have a pretty good collection of Indian recipes and found good spice suppliers. Keema naan's are my favourite and I find it best done in an oven.

That sounds great. We had to go to an asian shop in Caen to get some of the spices, but others were (surprisingly to me) available in the local Intermarche.
