Quitus Fiscal...importing a motorhome
Hi All
I am changing our RHD camping car for a LHD model, and unfortunately the only way to do this is to part exchange the current camping car in the UK for a LHD vehicle, then import the LHD camping car, (impossible to sell the vehicle outright here or in UK). What is the current process for obtaining a quitus fiscal? I understand that this is the document that confirms all import duties applicable have been paid. I previously went to a local tax office for a QF but not sure whether this is still feasible with le confinement, or whether it is now possible to do this on line? Any advice would be much appreciated. Peter |
Re: Quitus Fiscal...importing a motorhome
I'd say you first should check with your local tax office to see if they can issue this face-to-face or whether its only available on-line.
The follwing links should also provide guidance: https://www.service-public.fr/partic...vosdroits/F179 https://www.impots.gouv.fr/portail/contacts And Par. 2.4 in the following: https://www.french-property.com/guid...n-registration |

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere recently that you can now get a quitus fiscal online...
Have a look on the ANTS site. |
