Re: telling off
Not sure what judgmental and grumpy has to do with it. When you set up your own forum you can make the rules. Anyone who wants to use this forum has to follow its rules. Rosemary is a forum moderator and as such she's supposed to make sure people do. She asked you nicely, we tried to warn you in a jokey way, so not sure why you persisted? Seems a bit infantile so standing in the corner sounds about right but good luck with the plans, and by all means come back after you've finished your tantrum, if you want.

Your forum isn't for me. I think there's an age gap problem.......

Re: telling off
The forum's for everyone who seeks or provides advise, but a measure of humour is essential. Please keep posting, the more the merrier. Regarding age gap, you're a youngster compared to myself and some others here.
Oh, and if you don't like rules, don't even think about re-locating to France. Seriously! Rules (and breaking them) are part of the French dna. Even my wife would agree. (Hope she doesn't read this or I'll be in the doghouse yet again, either that or she'll get her mini guillotine out of storage)........

Re: telling off
I'm in my early 70s, so not all that much difference. FWIW, I've lived in France for over 4 decades (7 different Présidents) and I think I've experienced everything you can name (except prison). All advice is based on personal experience or knowledge gained over the years. Please don't take offence because you were asked to change your colour - I, too, had difficulty reading what you wrote and almost sent a pm.....
