Re: Photos
Thanks again all of you.
This is one taken yesterday morning at a favourite spot of mine. It's the panorama at a place called Candes St. Martin. This is the point of confluence of the two rivers La Loire and Le Vienne. It's a fantastic viewpoint, and a great place for a pic-nic on hot summer days.

Cheers Moose. I wish it were for sale! It was the site of an old windmill. What a view, eh?
Anyway. I was up with the larks again this morning to drop off daughter at Collège, so I found myself down by the river again. After scaring off the ducks, geese and what looked like a beaver but was more than likely a ragondin (coypu), I got these.

Re: Photos
Sorry I've not posted in a while. Just been so busy. We set about rearranging the kitchen in our family gite pretty much on a whim and it ended up being a complete rebuild! Then we had guests house-hunting, so we hand-held them for the week. Plus, I don't know why, but I've just been 'out of sorts'. Nothing wrong, just not quite happy. Anyway, I was watching one of our owls tonight sat on the shower block roof, and it was just stunning. I'd just cooked a BBQ - the first of the year! It had gone dark, one of the cats was on my lap, just me outside and this owl - gorgeous. Then I sat and watched the stars. Orion in particular is impressive. So, then I went & got the camera, and tried a few long exposures. This is one.
Nice photos again!
I would suggest a nice little trick for the stars, try using a good zoom (200-300mm) and set the exposure to about 10-15 seconds then during the shot try slowly zooming in or out. You should get a great 'hyperspace' effect..!
