Paris plage
Now that the Paris plage is up and running again,is this a thing that would be used if set up by more towns in France.
The Paris people seem to use it a lot.

Re: Paris plage
I haven't actually been, although I've seen it at a distance - not sure I'd look too hot with a tan, rug for a chest, and speedos. Not really my cuppa tea, but a stroll by the Seine can be quite relaxing - each to their own.

Re: Paris plage
As my French is a little rusty, I first thought this thread meant there was a Plague in Paris - locusts or some disease or other, but of course it means beach, so a degree of relief there ...............
So Paris has it's own beach? On the Seine or have they made a lake? Sounds fun, and now Parisian workers can have their lunch on the beach, quite a perk to working in the city maybe.
Does one have to pay to get on it though?

Re: Paris plage
I was going to rep you for that but it says I have to spread around first
Paris Plage is pretty neat, especially for families who can't afford to go on a proper holiday, just go there and relax a bit When I used to live in Paris, I used to go hang around that area for my lunch break, at least you're not stuck in the office.
