Not a car. A way of life!
I note that CV-ites have been celebrating the 60th anniversary of their beloved vehicle.

Any expat readers currently have one, or ex-owners with interesting tales?
The title by the way is from recent comments, not from personal experience.

Love the cars. A friend has one, and is restoring it for trips to thes shows. If i had one (one day a must) it would be use everyday.

Many years ago my wife took a 2CV for a test drive, and had a little prang, whereupon several panels 'popped' off the 2CV.
Later the dealer inquired (with more than a hint of expectation) if she would be interested in buying the vehicle!

Very strange how you see so many with different cloured body panels. Obviously found by the road side and taken home as spares, just in case. But great cars.

ooooh, we had one of these when I was a kid and I've always wanted one of my own. Thanks for the memories! (and birthday gift idea)
