Music venues in Paris?
I've ended up going on a solo trip to Paris for a few days, and wondered if anyone on here could recommend a good place to go see gig or two? Like the equivalent of a Barfly...
I like alternative, rock and acoustic music and I am staying just outside Paris, on the A4 RAPT train line, so probs can't stay out too late...

I haven't checked out much of the music scene in Paris, but I'm told 'Au Petit Garage' has reasonable drink prices and caters for the alternative rock scene (63 rue Jean Pierre Timbaud, Metro: Parmentier (line 3)). I'm not entirely sure if it's a live music scene though.
Chesterfield Café, 124 rue La Boétie, 8th district does US rock and blues bands, but you have to book a table. Shame you weren't hear on the 'day of music' as you would have found alternative rock a plenty on the streets of Paris.
