Just read on another Forum that France have change their requirements re Health Insurance Policy - the poster says that they will ow accept the GHIC card - good news!

AFAIK it is for the VLS-T Visa also. I thought the normal 90/180 could be covered by ordinary insurance?? It was people who were applying at the Visa Office for Long Stay who were having their insurance refused??

Ah ok, I don't know, I find visas confusing.
I was thinking about the long stay visa for folks who want to make a permanent move, because here's another thread running on here where someone wanting to do that but he's finding the cost of health insurance off-putting. So it would have been great news for him if he doesn't need it, but I suspect that for the long-stay renewable jobbie (is that one the VTS-TS?) you still do need insurance?
