Lorraine france
I have a holiday home in in a semi rural area of France called Montfaucon de Argonne, Lorraine region. I would just like to know if there are any other English people who live in or close to Montfaucon. My husband is a keen fisherman and often goes fishing when in France. It would be nice to hear from other people who live in France as this is something we are planning to do in the future.

There were a few threads in the past about the Lorraine, but AFAIK none of the BE regulars live there. From the number of inhabitants of the Commune, I think you'd have found some English people in the area by now!
On the fishing front, your OH should google "Fédération de Pêche" or enquire at the Mairie as to how to obtain a licence. Once that's done, he'll make friends with the local fishermen, whatever their nationality!
