Hi! I have a home close to Quillan and looking for a long-term parking or the home of an individual where I can leave my car when I leave from the Carcassonne airport. can be a few kms from airport as I can take a taxi to catch my flights. it does not have to be a garage. merci beaucoup! cheers.

Hi,

It's some years since our car was impounded outside Carcassonne airport and taken to the fouriere but that was in the days when you could leave a vehicle for up to 3 months without charge.
Anyway, our eventual solution was to catch the bus from Quillan to Limoux and then get the train from Limoux to Carcassonne. Much cheaper than taxi or renting a garage, and very convenient - as long as it ties in with your flight time.

Hi, when our present house was our holiday home, we used to "board" our van in a garage within walking distance of the SNCF, one advantage for us being that the mechanic checked that it was in working order before we arrived. Maybe there's such a garage with space to rent near a shuttle bus-stop?

I looked at the train and bus. I agree it is the easiest way but a little problem to coordinate with some flights.
Actually, not bad idea about the boarding close to the SNCF. that is another solution if I could find a place there. it would also work. If I miss the shuttle SNCF to airport, I can always take a taxi - never did it but must not be expensive.

We left our car at Tours Train station for a couple of weeks in a long term car park. Cost us a fortune.

I'm curious if you did find somewhere to park your vehicle in Quillan, please?
I want to elave mine for 2 weeks, so that I can catch the bus/train/plane, to save the taxi fare from 20Km away.
