On-line banc statements, invoices etc

On-line banc statements, invoices etc
Just a practical question :
Should one download all the on-line papers (bank, EDF, water, etc.) or is it enough to access them whenever necessary ?
Thanks for info.

I do, although it's not good for the planet, because the computer might be down for some reason just when I need to access them!

I did actually mean whether I should download them to my computer or if there is any legal requirement to do so.
I did ask google but he prefers not to understand me, unhelpful or what !

Yes there is a legal requirement to retain certain admin docs for a given period. Link HERE.
As examples, gas, electricity and water bills should be kept for a max of 5years. We keep paper copies of ours, but where available on-line it makes sense to download and retain on an external HD or usb stick.

But as said by tp, you should download them from the sites and keep them safe and accessible somewhere.

And I thought it was a nice and easy system not to bother downloading ...
Now I've got a few years to catch up ...
