Default Jersey to France question

Hi,
I'm asking on behalf of a friend living in Jersey. The boats have now been cancelled for the umpteenth time and I suggested my friend looks for someone local with a boat that would take him to France. The reason for the cancellation is now due to the workers at the ports going on strike. Anyone have any tips or a boat willing to take someone to France from Jersey, obviously he will pay.
Thanks in advance

I understand that the company running ST Malo has filed for liquidation which may help to explain the current situation

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Are you referring to SMM or Condor Ferries or both?

Tell your friend to pop down to St Helier marina and ask the harbour master.
