ITIL Jobs in France
Hi,
I'm a Telco/IT professional with over 10 years experience in UK telecoms. I've worked as an Incident Manager and as a BA and now currently working as a Service Transition Analyst for a Application Support Provider.
I've done ITIL Foundation (v3) and I'm looking at either the Practitioner Course in Service Transition or perhaps a keyskills course in Managing Releases and Deployments.
In addition to managing changes and releases I co-ordinate and conduct Operational Acceptance Testing to ensure operational readiness for Projects. I also co-ordinate Datafixes and PTFs for a number of customers.
This is the first company I've ever worked at which has had an ITIL Service Transition Team and I'm keen to understand whether there are jobs in this area in France?

I dare say this sort of job exists in France, but those available would be given to equally qualified bilingual French candidates.
Unless you are bilingual in French yourself, you'll have more luck in the other countries you've posted in!
Please cross France off your potential list of countries, there's high unemployment in all professional fields...

How come you've only gone for France, Spain, Australia, USA and Portugal? We here in Canada are feeling offended!. DMU is sadly correct, no matter what your skills unemployment is horrific at present and they really would prefer a French person to fill any posts that may be available.

As it happens CJ there is an awfully lot of good info on the Canada forum, I bet there is on the Aussie one too, particularly in the Wiki's above the forum in the blue info ribbon. Very best of luck.
