Re: International movers from Oz to France
Hi there
Don't know Conroys but when we moved from France to Canada last year we used AGS. They are based in Paris but have local offices. You can check them out at
http://www.ags-worldwide-movers.com
Our contact in Paris was Isabelle Bax, who spoke English and was excellent. Our move was slightly different in that half the stuff was moved to a smaller house in France, whilst the other half was moved to Canada. We had a few hiccups but nothing that wasn't sorted quickly by AGS.
We have always tried to get the principle mover to be in the country we are moving to, rather from. That way if you have any problems when they unload it's easier to sort things out.

Re: International movers from Oz to France
Hi Val
Thanks for the reply. Tried AGS but they dont seem to cover Australia - Asia is the nearest partner unfortunately. I take your point re the mover being based in the country you are going to - it does take a lot of the hassle out of explanations etc especially when a different language is involved.
Will keep looking!
Cheers

Sounds very much like you are in Qld, i lived in Oz for 23 years.
France is great but they dont make a Shiraz like they do down under.
I spent yesterday under the house, i was relocating the toilet, now that did earn a big glass of red!!.
Cheers Keith.

Spot on! Sunshine Coast actually - been here 3+ years but coming back. Yes the Shiraz is good but must admit I miss a good Bordeaux, Burgundy and good ole Cote de Rhone to mention but a few!
Well just a bit of glossing left to do now - thank goodness Muscles I had forgotten about are now reminding me they have been used - ouch!
Still it beats relocating a toilet!!! Under the house you say???? Ooooer! Poor you! Hope the wine helped!
Cheers
