hi,
Drove past another one yesterday, big red and very sorry for itself.
Yes its a routemaster bus one of several i have seen around either converted into a one off advertising campaign (like this one) or a mobile somthing eg coffuire.
love recycling things but.............why?
It still had the destination Hyde park,Slone square with the number 58.
Must say Ken Livingstone i never liked you or your newts!!!!!
I believe millions were spent converting the bus for the health and safety brigade and you still got rid them for the bendy bus.
Lost icon of britain!!
Anyone else seen them?

Oh also,
Sadly the french rocker Alain bashung died in the last few days of cancer aged 61
listened to a few of his tracks but his last album has a single (Résidents de la République" of which we all relate.
have a look on youtube.fr under Alain bashung (universalmusic france) for the video.

Threads like this are really better suited to Le Rendez-Vous so we don't have to trawl to find the useful stuff.
Interesting though........But keep that in mind.

On the east bank of the Garonne, at the Centre Commercial du Barry, lived RMC 1499, that was in service as a pizza restaurant.

Saw a blue one on the péage going to Nantes t'other day. Was advertising some french healthcare mutuelle or other. Sad really.
