My mother-in-law is one too.
She pronouces hers, or I suspect her parents did in the heady days of post war Surrey: Deeanne - a la francaise in fact. |

French family and friends pronounce it Deeanna, but my family from post-war Sussex days (oh dear, that gives an idea of my age now, say no more...) pronounce it as per the late Princess.:)

Ok, which is it? Diana or Bravo?
<Andi, roughly how many breeze blocks do you need, I've got a spare one.> I think Diana is a lovely name - better than Diane, which doesn't have the same ring to it. And count your blessings dmu, you could have been named after Peristophone, she was one too, so imagine trying to get THAT in the "Name" box on forms. I used to pride myself on being a Universalist - but got fed up trying to get it in them tiny boxes on forms where it says "religion" so found it easier to just write "No thanks" or Pagan. That always got em going at the Tax Office :rofl: |

Getting back to the original question, have you sorted out your parpaing problem? |
Re: Here's a dumb question ........
:rofl:What was the question? Oh, yes! Trust Old Tres to get distracted by gorgeous Roman goddesses or some such, and take us all off track. There goes the neighbourhood;)
Yes, if they are that cheap, that's really good news. Obviously, when I build the extension I won't buy one at a time (unless we are so poor we can only afford one a week that is, in which case building it will take me best part of 2 years!) I'll get a couple of pallets full, but Pete the OH, is getting beside hisself with excitement about building viaducts, ponds, railway crossings, and sounds like a whole model village complete with 60 cars in a car park (don't panic, all in N scale whatever that is) and he needs about 10, so that will be 8.20 euros worth of washing up he has to do while I build the extension. Thanks for getting that info, you have made him the happiest man in England!:D |
