Hello - I'm new

Hello - I'm new
OK - this is just to get over the first posting barrier, so I've really got nothing to say except hello
I live on the Cote d'Opale between Abbeville and Le Touquet. We've been in this area for 7 years but moved nearer the coast a year ago.
I reckon I've handled a lot of plasterboard in those 7 years, hence the handle. My ambition is never to have to touch the stuff again.
Anyone else from around here?
Patrick

Enchanté madame,
I see you've removed the link to my website, and I know you've sent me a private message about this, but as I've not yet made 3 posts I'm unable to access the message or reply to it privately.
I read the rules carefully before posting, so I'm aware that the link has to be to my own personal business. I assure you it is. My wife and I have been running our holiday cottage business for more than 5 years. At one time we had 5 gites, but after selling 3 and, this year, creating a new one we are currently down to 3. A new one will be opened in November, however, taking us up to 4 again.
I'm rather hoping you were so impressed with our website that you felt it had to be a big business behind it, not just a couple of retired ex-pats. I designed and built the website myself to give that very impression, so if it worked I'm chuffed. You can find my name and that of my wife on the home page and also on the page headed "For Couples" (in the caption to the photo bottom right - showing our house).
I hope, with our experience of creating successful gites as well as websites, and our 8 years in France, we might be able, in time, to make some useful contributions the forum
Can I start using the link again, please?

Was hoping by now you would have posted more than 3 times so could have read my pm
Have to admit, when I looked at your website and saw the "For Couples" heading I did get all excited and wonder if it was one of those dodgey porn sites
Seriously, I was very impressed with the site and have no problems with you re-inserting the link.
