Yes, the move is permanent - jumping in with both feet, so I hope it goes well.

Those 18 months will fly by; I've another three decades or more to go, and don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the sunshine after 5.5 months of snow, as nice as Sweden may be. What solution are you using to get the Internet on a temporary basis to work?

Hi again,
We already have a fixed landline telephone in our house and last autumn we opened up an Orange broadband account, which has worked perfectly the time we've been there, and I actually managed to do some work back in the autumn. Just hope the orange connection is still 'up and running' when we plug in our laptop when we get down there in April!

How in contumaceous hell are you going to cope with the move and a little baby at the same time?

You're lucky to have broadband. Where I'm moving to I'm going to have just about the slowest connection going, which will be tough as at the moment I'm used to fibre optic speeds.
I'm living in chaos at the moment - a little more chaos won't hurt!
