Isn't it interesting how a gardening thread can rapidly turn into one involving cars?
With ref to one of your retained jobs proofreading for the MG Car Club's monthly magazine, I can probably dig out a few of my MG photos if you wish and ultimately a few related, humorous tales.
From memory the MGB was in production for close to 20 years with over 500 thousand examples produced in total. Mine was the far rarer MGC 3litre version which was eventually cancelled after less than 2 years of production with less than 9000 produced, and I'd be surprised if even a third of those have survived. I used the car for several years in the SW of France, and sold it back in UK around 1973 still with UK registration. If I can find any photos I will pm them to you rather than post them here, as from memory Mme TP was posing in or beside the vehicle in scanty beach attire, and unsure if Veet depilatory creams were available then.......!:eek:

:thumbup: that would be great, Tweedie. Great excitement amongst the MGC fraternity this year because it's the 55th anniversary and they are planning some special events.
Better get back on topic now or Rosemary will be giving us lines. Quick, post another pic of your garden - I can't cos I have no garden!
