Default French Songs

Found that this is a nice way to learn the language..and for you lazy ones it's great because you don't have to do much work, just sit and listen..

Florent Pagny - Mathilde
Francis Cabrel - Petite Marie
Calogero - En Apesenteur (Weightlessness)

Johnny Hallyday (all of his songs are good!)

Laquelle de toi (Which one of you)
Ce que j'ai fait de ma vie (What I've done with my life)

Good idea
I like listening to Garou. He sings quite a few of his songs in French and English which also helps.

Apologies, just an extract is all I could find - Oh it is years since my girlfriend of the time used to love playing me this and taking the mick

If anyone has the full song I'd love a copy

I really like the modern french music, also some of the older stuff, its a great way of learning french also.

Fripouille,
I agree. Not surprising though, this being THE Brel classic.
