French contract requirements - post Brexit

Apart from the wait until the 31st to know exactly what will happen, I'm presuming we still have to prove another form of legal documentation other than just a Carte Sejour once a French (/ EU member state) contract has been received?
Something not just the employee but also the employer to think about to be fully legally allowed to work in that country, more form filling, or visa style work permits?

Re: French contract requirements - post Brexit

This is all covered, insofar as it can be at this stage given all the uncertainty, in the public info put out by the government regarding Brexit.
https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/Actual...are-au-Brexit/
For each topic there is one response setting out the foreseen procedures and obligations in the case of an orderly exit and another response setting out the forseen procedures and obligations in the case of a disorderly exit. On the question of work permits it says

EDIT - this is France's plan. Other EU states may have different ideas.

Hi, from what I've read on the forum, employers can't employ non-EU citizens here, unless they have demonstrated to the powers-that-be that they couldn't find a suitable French or EU candidate for the post. If I remember rightly, the employers must sponsor the work visa for a non-EU citizen. This applies to non-EU citizens at the present time, and it's impossible to know whether it will be applicable to UK candidates after Brexit, although it's highly likely....
