Default foreign driving license in France

Hi,
I am about to work in France for the winter and have a question about my driving license .
I hold a Canadian license and will be in France for about 5 months, starting Dec. 1st. Is there such a thing as a 90-day limit for using it or will I be allowed to drive with that license during my complete stay, provided I have an international license also?
Thanks for any help on this.

The limit for using a non-European licence is in this case one year, so you'll be fine:

The conditions are that you're currently a resident of Canada (and have been for at least six months, if you're a French citizen), and that the licence is accompanied by an official translation (for which I'd imagine an International Driving Permit would suffice).
