fancy one?

a pasty?
I'm in Cornwall.
I do.
But it's flooking Easter and the Pasty factory is shut.
Any suggestions for how I should stuff myself?

A chocolate smirk would seem to be the answer. What would I do without you ladies. Are you by any chance two sisters adrift on a log without a safe home and in need of rescuing?

Re: fancy one?

Yep - adrift on a chocolate log - lawks, can you imagine anything worse, as you couldn't eat it!

Crantock Bakery have an outlet on the main road in Perranporth. Best pasties out there.

Why has no one invented ice-cream flavoured crisps?

Sure to be a best-seller.

In a small town in southern Italy that I visited a few years ago (yawn) the local ice cream maker was trying to get us to try his latest invention - Salmon Ice Cream. Oddly enough none of my clients wanted to try it out and the man was most offended. He was an odd fish...

Sounds nicer than the Cheese flavored Ice-cream they sell here which I think has just gone off.

Stu chilli ice cream sounds rather interesting - a combination of hot and cold to get the old taste buds going. I must keep a watch out for that, as always open to trying out new takes on my number one favourite food group!

I know you do your own bread and stuff, have you ever done the bread with olives, chillis and herbs, with all the wonderful cheese smothered on top? Begins with an F I think (and no, I don't mean F for Fattening, although I bet it is), but can't even pronounce it let alone spell it!!

Anyone fancy some chocolate? Have loads here, due to deaf but well-meaning mother producing 8 bars, 2 boxes and 3 toblerones for my birthday, despite being told time after time I am on a DIET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AARGH .......

Why is it that nice things are bad for you? If I believed in "god" I'd think it was "his" revenge on womanhood.

Thank you, thank you, I love y'all <crowd goes wild>

Still munching my way through that chocolate - hiding it round the flat works till the sun comes out, then brown trickles give the game away and I'm so desperate I'm sucking it up through a straw ....... now THAT'S addiction:(

Oh is it only me that likes that melted chocolate in those funny machines then? Leaving chocolate in the sun has the same effect, just cheaper!!

Suppose I should have been more "cultured" about it and said I dipped me marshmallows in it whilst watching The South Bank Show, but hey well, you know me, I was right out of marshmallows ...............

Never done any, but t'other night we made our own bread in the four a pain. The best we've made yet! Lovely brown, ceispy crusts. Not too heavy inside. Bootiful! :D

I really don't think you should be let anywhere near a working bread oven with your track record of disasters, Andy

Am still recovering from introducing my French friend to England and Wales. I made the mistake of buying him a prize-winning Cornish pasty, which he considered 'degelas' /disgusting, only matched by our appalling habit of eating fry ups with sausages for hotel breakfasts...
