Expat groups near avignon?
Just moved to France with DH 10 days ago from Dubai ... we are near Avignon and don't know anyone our age near Avignon other than a couple of DH's high school friends (I'm 28, DH is 35) Although DH is French we are equally expats in France as he has been away for 18 years. We would love to meet other expats in the area ... if there are any!

Hi Beigey,
have you asked at your local Mairie if there's anyone locally? Failing that, (and depending how much you crave expat company) have a scan through the 'phone book for 'English' sounding names, and give 'em a call? You never know, they may well be your next best mate?

your local tourist office might also have details of expat meet ups etc.
