Estate Agent Fees .
Hi , we went to see the same property twice with 2 different agents , after the first viewing we decided against buying but later reconsidered and viewed again with a different agent . The second agents fees are a lot cheaper and if we go ahead and buy we would like to do the deal as their clients , not the first agents . Does anyone know if this is a problem or if any laws prohibit this ? Thanks for any help anyone can give ...

Hi,
It would really depend on if you have signed a contract with the estate agent acknowledging that you have viewed the property. Would it not be better to tell the agent that another has it at a better price and can he drop his fees.
Thanks

We haven't signed anything with either agent , the other thing is the first agent was rather rude and unhelpful which is another reason we wanted to proceed with the second . Thanks for reply ...
