Default Earth Tremors?

Anyone heard of any earth tremors in South West France last night?

About eleven thirty was on msn to family in England and the whole flat shook for a couple of seconds. I looked outside but there was nobody about but this flat shook. It's a strongly built flat too, reinforced concrete walls etc, an old fishermans place.

Have searched the internet but am useless at that sort of thing so my nil points on that score mean nothing.

I had a look around the web and found a report from the 17th July 2008 of an earthquake centred on Pau.

Nothing for last night - yet.

Found this at the "French Alps Seismic Network"

So it's been quite 'busy' of late.

Bit late to the thread but I visit this site almost every day. It has no record of the French one yet, but it will soon, I'm sure. It's a great site for browsing on a rainy day!
