DRiving in France

Hi . I will be moving from India to France . I was wondering if one can obtain a French’s driving licence with english translation . I will be based out of clermont ferrand. I am told I can use my Indian licence for a period of 1 year... thanks for your help .

It comes in French in the standard EU format so is easy to decipher.

Hello
Yes I think it is possible, inform you before about the conditions and the papers to gather .. otherwise you can always make an international license, it's quite simple
Have a nice day

Indian licences are not among those which can be exchanged. After, preferably during, the 12 months you will be required to obtain a EU licence by taking the tests.
