Double taxation - how long does it normally take to get it back?

Double taxation - how long does it normally take to get it back?
I sent the French/English copies for the double taxation on interest for savings overseas, around September last year. The French tax office is supposed to send the English copy over to the UK, and keep the French one. I'm still waiting for reimbursement, and as it's the first time I've done it, I was curious how long it normally takes?

Honestly, I think they will both end up keeping it. No doubt my papers will mysteriously disappear without a trace.

Your papers may well disappear, they wouldn't be the first, but regardless 4 months is way way too soon to be even thinking of getting your UK tax back, think up to 12 months - or even more !
I'm curious why you sent it in September though as normally you would submit it with your first tax return which would be around May time ?
PS: I couldn't find a SIRET number on your web site, perhaps I wasn't looking hard enough
