Disabled Parking Permit

How do I go about getting a disabled parking permit? Is it easy to obtain or another logistical nightmare? It will be for my young son who has a neuromuscular disorder.
Thanks:)

Hello! The UK disabled permits are transferable in France. My mum-in-law has one. It has a the EEC emblem on it, and we've had no problems whatsoever using it.

I asked my doc about this as I am a carer for an old man of 81. He wrote a name on a piece of paper - something like "COLEREP" and said to ask at the local Dept. offices. It's going to be very difficult to get one of these and of course, you will see so-called "disabled" people getting out of their cars and walking into shops.

Now that I know that I'm entitled to stay here, I will no longer need this, but would be nice to have as he is very aged and cannot walk far.

Hi My Mum uses her UK one with no problem and has done for almost 2 years. She has recently asked her Doc about it and he gave her some forms to fill in so she can get a French one. So I would ask your Doc about it.
