Just had an email from one of the french property sites-UK site I think.
It's message was to beat the deadline for moving- March 1019
and offer hints and tips to beat that deadline etc.

Is that right- March 2019, I know that's when the UK leave officially.
I was under the impression we had until Dec 2020.

I know nothing has been decided- or did I miss something.



Apologies if this has been asked umpteen times..

If you want to be absolute sure and fear a hard, no deal, no transition brexit then end of March 2019 is the deadline. But as others here may point out, sites in the UK catering to buyers of French property are the last place you should be looking for reliable information about property or anything else. It's in their interests to rush people into making hasty decisions and probably paying way too much.

As I understand it the deadline is March 2019 and your status then continues through (any) transition period however a fortnight short of a full two years since the farcical vote to leave still nobody knows anything for sure !

Brexit......(aaaaaaaaaarrrggghhh) just completely insane and getting worse.
I have lived through a few govts here, this lot ..well I'll leave it there as the post will be modded.

If there is a second vote, then I really suspect that, now everyone has seen through the lies the Russian supported leave group promulgated, then the vote will be to stay, and all that time and money will have been wasted.

We have been led to the cliff edge, seen what lies below and all is chaos and ruin.
A second vote is the only way forward. But,
I doubt this govt here (UK) will allow that unless Parliament and Corbyn gets their act together.
Corbyn has instructed his MPs to not vote in favour of Lord's amendments...!!!
