Cleaning Crepié

Cleaning Crepié
I am still searching for a product or combination of products (elbow grease included) for cleaning crepiéd walls. Does anyone know of a strong enough solution to do this work?
I've tried proprietry cleaners, bleach and pressure cleaners but so far - no luck.

Re: Cleaning Crepié
Good point Stan, although we used pressure washer indoors when we had no floors, and also a sand blaster for the stone bits, which worked a treat but we couldn't breathe for 2 days and had to sleep in the tent in the garden.
Failing cleaning it and depending what's on it, can you not treat it with bleach and then simply get a spray gun load it with paint and go over it? If you seal it with a PVA solution, anything on it shouldn't come through should it?
I am a bit out of date as my renovation work was over 2 years ago and we did buy some materials from England and take them with us in the lorry with the furniture, so don't know any more what you can get over there.
Good luck with it anyway.

PS, what about a Painting Party? Feed everyone some good cheese, loads of red wine, and then get em all to work! or praps work first, get bletted afterwards, or they might paint the roof and garden as well ...........
