Salut!

I'm days away from moving to Paris (nervous, excited, nervous)!

Quick questions. Does anyone know of a good SIM deal (i have an iPhone) and also a good deal for wireless broadband - I have a 2 month apartment without the net so i want one of those dongles.

Any help much appreciate

I have personally only used the Orange dongle which is cheap enough to buy but not the best price for on going internet access. These days i pay 12 euros a month for access with my iPad. You will need proof of address and person to get a sim card in France so have these in preparation ;)

Try as many different suppliers as you can. They all have slightly different packages, we chose the firm which best met our needs.

If you are only in France for two months Pay as you go might be better- but ask if you can take out a monthly contract for less than a year.
The payg rate isn't cheap but we got two lots of 48 hours as an introduction.
For emails and web search we'll probably keep using the office de tourisme @ 1 euro per hour.

Does France have pc s in libraries or similar like we do in Scotland ?

yeah i think i may ask at the airport when i get there for broadband.

I have proof of address so can buy a sim ..yay!
