Default Can ANYONE save me from this gloom?

Hi - My name is Thomas, and im eager to work somewhere hot for a few months this year - Ill do pretty much anything, preferably outdoors, Im smart, well-spoken, enthusiastic and open-minded.

If you can offer me ANYTHING to get me out of this god-forsaken country for a few months, then Ill more than likely take you up on that offer.

And I mean ANYTHING.

All/any responses will be greatly appreciated :-)

Thanks

I note that you've posted the same thread on a number of other European forums.
Why not try the Africa forum, where I should imagine there are far more opportunities for (I presume) non-skilled, casual workers. And sun in abundance.
Good luck.

Hi Thomas, could you maybe give some idea of how old you are and what skills you have and what you're prepared to do? I'm thinking, why not try one of the holiday companies e.g. Holidaybreak (Eurocamp, Keycamp), PGL, Acorn? I spent a summer in the south of France as a campsite courier, looking after guests, cleaning tents etc, and it was one of the best summers of my life. You've left it a bit late to apply but PM me if you wish.

Perhaps we weren't serious enough.

I take volunteers on HelpX and Workaway here in Hungary but you would need to register with them. This is for legal reasons, as if someone hosts you as a volunteer the government can regard you as an illegal worker if not done via a non profit making organisation.

Damn! I'm in the US, and was just going to offer you a job mowing our lawn, and keeping our boat clean and tuned up. Oh well, Europe it is then. Good luck!

I appreciate your sense of humour. (You'd do well with a position amongst the present government here).......
