Well they have to fill the pages with words don't they and Brexit is a good a topic as any, saves having to look too far.
No matter how many miles of journalese they spin out of it, none of it is going to change the facts nor the outcome.
For me, this is the only sentence arguably worth printing out of that article:
"We would stress that, despite some well-publicised assertions to the contrary, there remains great uncertainty over the precise effects because the UK’s future relationship with the EU in the event of a Brexit is still unknown"

The article appears to have been published on March 2016.

@bobbi2 You must decide whether you want two properties on your hands when the negotiations have been finalised. I reckon that fewer Brits will want to move to Europe if they have to go through the same procedure as present non-EU citizens, therefore fewer potential buyers if you want to sell one of them....
But then, since no one has the faintest idea what will be agreed upon, no one should speculate....

UK alone is stronger than most of EU

God bliss Rothschild family for UK I think the Brexit will be great for all British people in the long term, hope UK will unite more with Netherlands, the biggest two economic bases in EU.
For BEs in EU, I don't think anything negative will impact them, because Britain has not declared the war against EU nor it violated International treaties!, it just said we don't want to follow EU economic policies, we are strong even if we are alone and they will prove it sooner or later.
Here is my quotation

I am just wondering how many expats are airing with caution over Brexit? There are the obvious red tape that will inevitably happen. We thinking hard about our future here. We have found a second home that we may well of bought in 3 or 4 years time which would of fitted in nicely post actual Brexit as well as retirement etc, but now is thrown into all kinds of doubt because of so much uncertainty. I am just wonder if what other expats are thinking and doing for your future here? Once again we are seething with the whole Brexit vote and the fact that we chose to continue to have a wonderful life here and enjoy experiences many will never do but others have thrown our future into doubt.

So true.
Of course France will continue to welcome property buyers for their massive empty rural housing stock but non EU will surely find it difficult, as they do now, to get French residence. As NHS will no longer be funding then healthcare for non EU will be a problem nationally and will, locally, be a nightmare.
We see daily reports in UK of 'foreigners' such as Americans, Australians, wives of UK nationals etc who have lived for decades in UK being deported as illegals. No EU for the moment but that is to come.
Why would France take a different view?
