APL
My wife and I are moving to Toulouse in October, we are 33 and 25 years old, and both will be working, would we qualify for the APL (aide au logement)?
Thank you for all the help in advance

Re: APL
Here you go, do a simulation here and it will tell you the answer
PS - actually it might not, because apparently the method of calculation has been changed this year and it's not clear whether the simulator has been updated. But if you enter this year's figures as N-2 figures it might give you a close enough answer, and if you study the new info on https://www.service-public.fr/partic...sdroits/F12006 you'll probably be able to figure it out.

Re: APL
Are you renting at first? Bear in mind that most French landlords require potential tenants to have a regular monthly joint income 3-4 times the rent, without taking a possible APL into account in advance.

Re: APL
But basically, before CAF will have anything to do with you, you need to prove you've been legally resident in France for the 3 months immediately prior to your application, also IIRC that you have your healthcare affiliation in place. AFAIK it doesn't matter where you lived before that. Then obviously you need to remain resident in order for your benefits to continue, and CAF will probably keep checking this on a regular basis.
(Are we perchance having a windup here, I wonder...)
