5th Arrondisment
Hi all,
I am new to Paris. Here with my husband who is working in Paris. I havent seen much of Paris and would love to explore it with someone who has time on their hands. I love to walk, sit at cafes, watch people. I would love to meet up with someone who can tolerate me smoking..likes, to drink wine at cafes..outside naturally, and who is happy to schlep around Paris having fun. |

There aren't all that many BE members living in Paris or banlieue, but hope you find some one to keep you company! If you go to the British Consulate, you'll find a list of various groups and associations that you could join, where you would make new friends.:) |

I've been in paris (with my husband and teenagers) since the summer. I am in the 16th and wouldn't mind some company. I have joined meetup.com but not actually gone to any meetings yet, but that's an idea. If we can work out a way to get in contact we can arrange a coffee some place in the center. - Julie |

Hi Kate,
I'm moving to Paris for work in the next 4-6 weeks and my brave husband is coming with me! We'll be living out on the RER A near Sartrouville but I work in the 1st so will be in town a lot. Happy to keep in touch and try to meet up when we get settled in. Sam and I both love our good red wine and ciggies, coupled with plenty of people watching! We plan to explore the city from top to bottom... Keep in touch? :o |
Re: 5th Arrondisment
Those in Paris with kids should join Message expats club. We live in the Paris suburbs (Le Vesinet) and my wife joined Message as soon as we arrived on the advice of other expats we knew. She very quickly built a large network of friends and contacts and has found it a great help.
