very weak Cat 1, crossed the coast around 5.30am, lots of rain, bit of wind..... I'd like to wish all the senior staff in Qld Govt a Merry Christmas - in fact I was tempted to put it on the cyclone warning when I sent it out and woke them all up in the early hours but I thought that was adding insult to injury a bit
