Victoria -Bushfires
 
EMERGENCY WARNING

There is a fast moving, out of control bushfire travelling in a northerly direction from Koorlong State Forest towards Twenty First Street.

Spotfires and Ember Attacks are starting up to 3 km ahead of the main fire.

Benetook Avenue, Twenty First Street & Whitecliff Avenues could be impacted anytime within the next 1-2 Hours.

Leaving now is the safest option, before conditions become too dangerous. Emergency Services may not be able to help if you decide to stay.

There is a fast moving, out of control bushfire in the Cobaw area.
A wind change is currently causing the fire to head easterly & north-easterly towards Benloch and Nullavale.

Residents accessing property from Burke & Wills Track between Lancefield- Toobrurac Road & Baynton Road are advised to seek shelter.

The fire is currently impacting houses on Ashworths Road, Musk Gully Road, Whalans Track & Greenways Road.

This is an Emergency Warning issued by Country Fire Authority for Maryknoll, Nar Nar Goon North, Tynong North.

There is a fast moving, out of control bushfire travelling in a northerly direction from Mortimer Road north towards Gembrook State Forest.



The fire is no longer expected to cross the southern side of Mortimer Road due to a wind change which has moved the direction of the fire north towards the Gembrook State Forest.

This is an upgraded Emergency Warning issued by Country Fire Authority for Cobaw, Benloch, Lancefield, Nulla Vale.

The Cobaw bushfire is currently out of control.

Firefighters have been unable to stop the fire and it has crossed Three Chain Road and is moving fast towards Lancefield.

It is travelling in a south-easterly direction from Nudist Camp Track.

A wind change is expected at approximately 4pm which will cause the fire to head in a north-easterly direction towards Benloch and Nulla vale.

Spot fires and ember attack are starting up to 2.5km ahead of the main fire.


You are now in immediate danger, act now to protect yourself. Emergency Services may not be able to help you.

WATCH AND ACT

This is an updated Watch and Act message issued by Metropolitan Fire Brigade for
Calder Park, Hillside (Melton), Keilor North, Sydenham, Sydenham Park, Taylors Lakes.

The CALDER PARK grassfire is currently not yet under control.
There is a smoke in the area for the next 2 to 3 hours.
Fire and emergency vehicles will be in the area for some time.
Traffic diversions have been put in place as West bound on the Calder Freeway is blocked between Kings Road and Thompsons Road Calder Park
Unexpected conditions have caused the fire to cross


The next update is expected by 06/10/15 7:00 PM or as the situation changes.

This is a DOWNGRADED Watch and Act message issue by Country Fire Authority for Garfield North, Bunyip North, Tonimbuk.

Firefighters have stopped the spread of the grassfire in the Tonimbuk area at Ellis Rd. It is now under control.

CFA crews are in attendance and will continue to patrol the area.

There will be smoke in the area which may restrict visibility. Emergency vehicles are on the road in the area.

This is a Watch and Act message issued by Country Fire Authority for Strath Creek.

There is a small bushfire travelling fast in an easterly direction from Mt Hickey Fire Tower towards Strath Creek

This bushfire is currently not yet under control.

A wind change is expected anytime between 4.00pm and 6.00pm, which will cause the fire to change directions towards Trawool and Kerrisdale.

The fire could impact properties between Mt Hickey Fire Tower and the King Parrott Road, Strath Creek any time between 4.00 PM and 6.00 PM.

This is a Watch and Act message issued by Country Fire Authority for Bonnie Doon, Woodfield, Maindample, Ancona, Dry Creek, Tallangallook.

There is a medium 40 hectare bushfire travelling fast in a north westerly direction from Kiernans Road towards Maroondah Highway.

This bushfire is currently not yet under control.

A south westerly wind change is expected to impact the area around 5pm today. The fire is then expected to head towards the Midland Link.

This is a Watch and Act message issued by Country Fire Authority for Trawool, Kerrisdale, Granite.

This bushfire is currently not yet under control.

A wind change from the South West is imminent with gusts up to 100kms per hour. This will cause the fire to change directions and travel towards the Goulburn Valley Highway.

Spot fires are expected to occur ahead of the fire front following this wind change.

Residents of Trawool, Kerrisdale and Granite are advised to activate their bushfire plan in anticipation of this wind change.

Don't wait, leaving now is the safest option - conditions may change and get worse very quickly. Emergency Services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.
