Default Jeremy Corbyn

He looks like a ****ing alcoholic Geography teacher : I actually wonder if he's so different to Blair and his mates whether he will be refreshingly electable in a way Kinnock was notCheers

Michael Foot MkII, and about as electable as the MkI version.

Labour will be lucky if all their MPs with credibility and experience don't split to form a new party.

That's what I think could happen. Either that or they'll jump over to the Lib Dems.

If he was in Australia he would be wearing long socks to work.

I had the major hots for my Geography teacher. He had a beard but I think it's a prerequisite for some reason.

I prefer his brother who looks even weirder but talks sense on "global warming". Personally I think he's a fruit loop but many of my friends around here think he's the best thing since sliced bread - time for new friends perhaps!

Interesting thing, amongst all the tabloid vitriol being thrown his direction - the lack of opinion polls being quoted by the papers. The reason? The labour share of the vote went up when Corbyn was elected leader....

If he can appeal to the middle class as well as the working class, with new policies that they can bite on, then he has a chance (particularly when the Tories roll Cameron).

I think he's great. A man of principle. A refreshing change from all these career politicians.

He's survived the first wave of media hostility. Hopefully people can now listen a bit to what he has to say rather than judging him on appearance.

Thing is, the middle class is actually the working class - they just don't like to think of themselves that way. As such the tory policies have been degrading them and their living standards for years now (wages haven't been rising as fast as prices, and then there's the extra costs like university tuition).

It wouldn't be that impossible to get them to realise that Cameron is not their friend, and Osborne certainly isn't.

Do that and the mass block of middle England vote switches.
