I'm curious about this and I bet a lot of others are too who are starting the journey and reading the forum.
If we could get a hundred people to vote on this poll ( I know it's a big ask ) it might even make it credible, what do you reckon?
Sorry guys it should say: your not 'you're ' Not sure how to change it?

Those options are very loaded.
What about those who just don't see what the fuss is about or can take it or leave it?
I am sure there could be many more.

None of the above really. Yes it was fine, settled ok, enjoyed it for a while then needed to go back where I belong.

Some might have liked a "yes, and I'm still stuck here" option.

Or a "same shit different bucket" option.

Send me some suggestions if you like, apart from the one you have mentioned.

Can I just say thank you to the 9 people who have voted so far.
I really appreciate it, as I'm sure do a lot of others who are just starting out.
If we could get more that would be great, it is anonymous by the way, so no one would ever question you over your view.
Cheers.

When I came here all good , 40 years later , not so much so , I dislike the way that this country has headed/is heading , intensely actually when I think about it.....
Where next ?? aaaaaaaahh , now that's the question.

Nothing suits me in the list.
I was apprehensive about the move and thought it might not work out, but it did. So my answer starts with "No.." but then nothing you have got in the No answers fits my situation.

I didn't have any firm expectations and try to remain that way.
It's turning out OK, I can't see me living anywhere else but I don't rule that out either. Life is full of infinite possibility ...

Nothing in the poll suits my circumstances. An odd set they are though lol
My kids have settled here & bred with the natives so I guess we're stuck here for the duration now. Good job it's not all bad.

Living in Australia has changed me for the better, I went from being a fat, lazy sod who rarely felt like walking the length of myself, to nearly 20kg lighter and the fittest I've ever been in my life. I started running, and within my first 6 months I ran my first half-marathon and now I set my alarm clock at 4am on Saturdays just so I can squeeze my long run in before it gets too hot.
It's also given me the courage to leave a career which I've been in for the last 13 years (teaching) to pursue something I'm much more passionate about (policing). At the age of 36, I don't think I've ever been so fit, healthy and positive in my life, and I believe living here, has given me the courage to do things I'd never have felt possible if I'd still been living back in the UK.
I still miss proper chips though...
