Tsunami - tilly smith

Just been reading about this young girl... pretty incredible story. Also, pretty impressive that her mum believed her !!!

"Tilly Smith is a British girl who, at age 10, was credited with saving nearly a hundred foreign tourists at Maikhao Beach (Thailand) by raising the alarm minutes before the arrival of the tsunami caused by the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake."

Wow! I hadn't seen this story before. She must be so proud of herself - she saved her family's lives plus the lives of a lot of other people.

I wonder if she will end up in some kind of marine career now :)
