♦ Police have confirmed the body of a man has been found in a burnt-out vehicle in Seaton in Gippsland about 5pm. The body is yet to be identified.
♦ CFA and DSE firefighters are battling to control a fire in Glenmaggie and the surrounding area.
♦ A bushfire about 48,000 hectares in size is still expected to affect the town of Licola, about 254 kilometres east of Melbourne, where 10 people are gathered with no escape.

THOUSANDS of Victorians are on alert as a monster blaze, which has claimed one life, several homes and 50,000 hectares of land, continues to rage.
An 80-year-old man perished in his car in the driveway of a home in the Gippsland town of Seaton yesterday - the state's worst bushfire day since Black Saturday.
Victorians are today bracing to fight further fires.
Residents in Maffra, Sale, Rosedale and Stratford have been put on alert for smoke with an out-of-control 50,000ha fire heading east-northeast today.
Fire authorities are also yet to hear from 35 people, including 20 firefighters, stranded in Licola with the road in and out of the town cut off
