William Tyrell - missing boy

William Tyrell - missing boy
I did a search in the Australian Forums, then a generalised search, but couldn't find anything.
After everything being strangely quiet for a month or so, there is perhaps a breakthrough
Police empty septic tank in search for toddler William Tyrell
The parents have never been identified 'for legal reasons'. Usually (though goodness knows how anyone could do it) parents/relatives are at the forefront of the media keeping the story active in everyone's mind. I think there was mention though of the lad having had a rough start in life. Perhaps he was in foster care
Anyway, I do hope there's some of resolution. Awful to contemplate.

His family have been campaigning for information and urging people not to forget hin via social media for the whole time he's been missing. I have his face pop up on my FB newsfeed daily.

Aaah, I didn't know that. So why the veil of anonymity in the general media? Not everyone is on social media......

Fair point....I just couldn't think of any recent examples or think why you wouldn't use everything at your disposal to keep this story current. I was chatting about it with friends a month or so ago, and we all agreed there was very little in the papers about it. (Which then made us think the police knew a lot more than they were saying?)
Regardless, I do hope there's some resolution soon for the family.
