The way it looks at present, there's a Tropical Low moving southeast from the Gulf through the interior of Queensland, will bring lots of rain through the interior and down towards the southeast. How much is left when it gets here depends on loads of factors.
Then the upper trough that moved west and brought all the rain this week is expected to move back eastwards - thats the rain for Sunday.
Also a possiblity of a Low or Cyclone building in the Coral sea off the Cape next week.

Ignored posters shouldn't be visible in quotes, I'll add it to the site feedback.

Been watching some footage on the weather channel and it lokks pretty bad down that way. The GC beaches look like a hurricane has hit them.
