SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING - SOUTHEAST QUEENSLAND
for DAMAGING WIND, HEAVY RAINFALL and LARGE HAILSTONES
For people in parts of the SOUTHERN DOWNS and SCENIC RIM Council Areas.
Issued at 2:30 pm Tuesday, 25 December 2012.
Thunderstorms are currently located over New South Wales and are moving towards the north. They are forecast to affect Killarney by 3:25 pm.
Damaging winds, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones are likely.

Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce damaging winds, heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding and large hailstones in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Warwick, Thargomindah, Cunnamulla, St George, Stanthorpe and Goondiwindi.
