First sniff of action....only a sniff though! Not likely to get Tropical Cyclone Stan yet......

A tropical low situated to the east of the Solomon Islands is moving in a general westwards direction. The low may gradually develop as it approaches the Solomon Islands over the next few days.

The system will remain very far offshore and does not pose a threat to the Queensland coast.
