That's a brilliant link, thanks. The Bris City Council site keeps coming and going, and is overloaded so other access to things like those maps is

I have tried researched various news articles to see if Victoria Point in Brisbane has been effected by the floods, nothing comes up with any info. I am hoping this is a good news, does anyone know if it has, i would appreciate it if you could help me. :fingerscrossed:

Partners aussie sis and family live that way, they were all fine, as far as I know its not an area that was in the path of the flood water. But she did say one road was cut, - tuesday? that was probably more to do with the rainfall, and she was saying the supermarket was short on some items, so if thats all she could moan about it cant be bad.

Victoria Point is not in the Brisbane Council area so for info you could check Redland City:

I think the only problems out there though were fairly trivial on the roads in the rain on Tuesday, nr Mount Cotton area.

Viccy Point was fine. Nearby areas around have had basic minor flooding from ground being unable to take any more water, if you get my drift.

You can see nearmap.com images of the floods here:

Brisbane and Ipswich both on the website now, other areas will be up over the next few days.
